Wayne worked 15 years for the St Louis Southwestern Railroad as a Lead Carmen Welder and later as a Logistic Consultant for American President Lines (APL) working out of my home office. He started at Cedar Trails working night shift weekends only. He worked as a consultant and for Cedar Trails seven days a week for six years to help pay his youngest son's way through college. Wayne has been with Cedar Trails for eight years and wishes that he would've found this position sooner in life. For Wayne, it is the most rewarding job he has ever had.
Senior Living Director
Jessica Redmond is the Senior Living Counselor at Cedar Trails. She joined our team in April 2017. She is originally from western PA, a little outside of Pittsburgh. After graduation she attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and then went on to join the United States Navy. During her time in the Navy, she met her fiance and that is what brought her to Southern Illinois. She worked at The Goddard School for a decade before joining our team. She strongly believes that from her experience with working with kids and now with seniors, she will be able to expand her knowledge tremendously. She is extremely excited to start this new adventure and cannot wait to see what the future holds.
